Q: Is there a way, in Elements 3, to batch replace original photos with the versions that have been edited? In Photoshop Album 2 (PSA2), all you had to do was highlight the photo(s) and then right click and choose to replace the original(s) with the edited version(s).
A: This particular PSA2 functionality was replaced in PSE3 with the much more versatile ability to have multiple edited versions of a file, Version Sets. In PSE3, select the sets of original files (Version Sets) you want replaced with the edited versions, right click on them --> choose Version Sets --> choose Flatten Version Set...Voila!
Only problem i have with this (all be it minor), is that the pictures get renamed to MyBeautifulPictures-edited-7.XYZ.
