If you are getting Catalog errors in the Organizer side of Elements 3.0, check your system for Photoshop Album SE (Starter Edition). If you have a preinstalled and never-launched version of Photoshop Album Starter Edition, it will likely cause a conflict with PSE3 resulting in getting catalog errors. Solution: launch or remove Photoshop Album SE.
