Removing Layer Styles in PSE3

In PSE2, removing an applied Layer Style was relatively easy, using the 'Clear Style' button right there on the Layer Styles Palette. In PSE3, that button is no more. So how do you remove, or clear, a layer style once it is applied to a layer? You are left with 2 options: 1) go to the Layer menu -> Layer Style -> Clear Layer Style, or 2) right-click on the layer (not the layer thumbnail) and select Clear Layer Style from the contextual menu.
