In Photoshop Elements 3, if you scan in a single, crooked image in 16-bit, or you have a 16-bit image acquired with some other method that needs straightening and cropping, you won't get any results if you use the Straighten and Crop command (Image menu -> Rotate -> Straighten and Crop Image). Try this workaround: Choose the Divide Scanned Photos command (Image menu -> Divide Scanned Photos). Pretty sneaky, eh sis?
I just purchased PSE3. One of the features i was looking forward to was 16 bit support for negatives that I scan. Are there some limitations I should know about when working with 16 bit files?
