Fuji S3 support in shipping ACR 2.4
Thomas Knoll confirmed that the Fuji S3 pro's RAF files will be unofficially supported by the release version of Adobe Camera Raw 2.4
As the DNG converter mirrored ACR 2.3's list of supported cameras, we can safely guess that it will be upgraded, and that Fuji users will also have access to the non-proprietary DNG format!

20D B/W images come up as Color in Adobe Camera Raw?
If you are shooting with your Canon 20D and have it set to shoot black and white, opening them up in Adobe's Camera Raw plug-in will display them in color! Really? Why? Well, in a nutshell, you are still shooting your images in full color. Canon just applies a triple secret hidden metadatatag that only Canon software is set up to recognize, making it black and white. Remember, if you shoot in RAW, you get to virtually develop the (digital) negative and can easily make it black and white using the Adobe Camera Raw plug-in. Conversely, if you end up liking it in color better, halleluiah, you can reprocess it. Discussion here: http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx?50@491.QqhqdJcsE8k.2@.3bb6a85c.3bb7c992

ACR 2.4beta: updated lists of supported cameras
If you look in the Adobe User-to-User forum, you will notice that the list of supported cameras for ACR has slightly changed from our earlier report.
The support of Nikon D2X has been removed, but now, the Pentax *istDs , as well as the Nikon Coolpix 8800 and 8400 are said to be unofficially supported. (Unofficial support means that the Quality Assurance department has not yet finished their series of tests)
DPReview has posted a different list that has more cameras: you should try to download the demo to see if your camera is supported.

ACR2.4 beta works in PS Elements 3
It is possible to load the latest beta version of Adobe Camera Raw beta in Photoshop Elements 3.0
Just replace the Camera Raw.8bi plug-in from the Adobe/Photoshop Elements 3/plug-ins/file formats folder. Thanks to Johndig in the DPreview forums for the information.
Remember to report any issues that you may have to the Adobe Public Beta Forum

Raw format workflow: Chromatic Aberration
Many now know (thanks to tips here and elsewhere) that Option (Mac) or Alt (Win) dragging the Exposure or Shadow sliders gives you a clipping preview. But use those same keys when correcting Chromatic Aberration (accessible under the Lens tab) lets you limit the preview to affected channels only. So if you see a little Red/Cyan fringe on shots made with that wide zoom of yours, and the Blue channel is obscuring your view, hold the Option or Alt keys to limit your view to the Red and Green channels.

Adobe Camera Raw 2.4 "supports" Olympus E-300 EVOLT
On the Adobe forums, Ron Leppke mentions that although the the EVOLT was not listed as a newly supported camera, and he had previously been unable to use ACR with his Olympus E-300 EVOLT ACR, 2.4 appears to work just fine. Ron claims it's "10 times faster, better and easier than the Olympus raw software. It was not a bit close; it was night and day in favor of ACR."
I believe this falls under the heading of what Adobe calls "unofficial support"(?)
